Children of all abilities can explore artistic materials, make friends, and enjoy being creative together in this inclusive program. Activities may include sensory exploration, creative movement, story time, and gallery visitation. Led by an art educator and an occupational therapist, this new program is designed for preschool and early elementary children. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with questions or for more information.
June’s program draws inspiration from the large expressive mural Envision Empower Embrace by artist Ben Jones. Participants will work together to create a colorful paper mural using large foam stamps and ink. Stamping builds fine motor development, hand strength and bilateral skills. A librarian from Montclair Public Library will lead storytime with books featuring printmaking.
