MAM Conversations: The Art of Visual Perception, The 33rd Annual Julia Norton Babson Lecture
Artist Larry Kagan will be joined by Psychology Professor Brian Scholl of Yale University to discuss how we see and how we think. During this 33rd Annual Julia Norton Babson Lecture, we will also explore how your mind makes sense of Kagan’s amazing abstract sculptures. His work reveals everyday objects and portraits, including Andy Warhol and Barack Obama, as he creates within the Pop Art tradition. Q&A and book signing reception with Larry Kagan to follow discussion.
Come early! MAM galleries will be open late until 7 p.m. Join us at 6 p.m. for perceptual interventions in the galleries with MSU Art and Design students.
